My Bayliner 175 (2004) has the battery in the same place, but there is no opening behind the seat cushion. I don't see any way to get to it. Can you help? Thanks in advance.

Your video is AMAZINGLY helpful!! We have to watch every year to make sure we’ve done it correctly. We didn’t take the hard top off last year and this year we found that one of the bolts had broken off of the brackets (Had NO CLUE) We also have 4 extra bolts that we have no idea where they go. They are in the roof section of the tailgate. 🤷‍♀️. Any idea???

I paid 3500 dollars to get all my lifters replaced and I’ve had this ticking noise intermittently and I was kinda worried telling myself there’s no way it’s soo tricky because it’s sounds literally like the lifters are taking a shit but after you warm the vehicle up it goes away won’t happen again totally helped figure out what’s happening thank you very much for making this video

Lifter taps sound about half as fast with this block's timing (around 5 per second), where this is like 10/sec.

would removing the belt isolate the problem? for instance noise on start. remove belt noise either remains or disappears

Another great video. Excellent detail on 2 different ways to drain the block and manifold of excess water, I'm confused why water doesn't come shooting out of those drain tubes as soon as the engine is started. Also any idea on the exact procedure for winterizing with antifreeze as per the merc manual that you referenced? Thanks man!

Interesting how your Jeep has a "friendly" horn switch. My 2018 is plagued with the loud on-off terror of a horn. Would love to know how to circumvent the computer and fix it.

I can’t say my 42re is a bad transmission at all. Serviced regularly and with 265,000 kms and it shifts great. It has done towing duties well and I tow over two tonnes in third gear only and only change by manually changing gears.
